A whale waves goodbye

After my boasting of seeing whales in Oahu, my mom and sister were convinced, so we booked a tour the day before we left. The whales were not as active in Kailua-Kona as they were in Honolulu, but they were still fun to watch. It’s a bit of a game to find a whale breaking the surface and to show your fellow tourists.

With whale watching under our belt, we enjoyed the remaining hours on the restful Big Island. We shuttled ourselves to airport destinations and flew back to reality. Hopefully, I’ll return. Aloha.
